Building Envelope Morphology
Working strictly with folding paper and the imprints of previous creases, an analysis of form and space evolved. In introducing cutting into the process, the paper generated new forms as the grid was manipulated into curved planes. With the project site located at the intersection of 3rd Street and Arch Street in Philadelphia, the latest paper form transpired to become an area of temporary seclusion from the city landscape.

Urban Infill Seder Ritual
Inspired by Bernard Tschumi’s “Manhattan Transcripts” the Jewish Passover Seder was dissected into a chronological ritual to understand its movement and spatial environment. By diagramming the ritual, the 2D diagrams were then placed in a 3D context at the site of 919 East Passyunk Ave, Philadelphia.

Regeneration of Borghetto Flaminio
Located north of the historic centre of Rome and adjacent to Villa Borghese, this site has been iconic to human settlement. The site faces Via Flaminia, which defines an axis off of Piazza del Popolo. The site is currently decrepit buildings, a Children's Museum and school, and a small restaurant. The six-week design task was to generate a facility for Artist Residences, a Gallery, Conference Spaces, and a Bookstore and Cafe: "cultural and artistic activities integrated within a public park."
